AWANA Calendar
We will be meeting every Wednesday from 7 – 8:30 pm with Capital Christian Fellowship Church located at 10411 Greenbelt Road, Lanham, MD 20706. Children ages 3 through 6th grade are invited to attend and do not need to be members of either CCF or Touch Point. There is an annual cost of $25 for attending awana which covers the cost of the entrance booklet, handbook, uniform, awards and other incentives given throughout the year. The ministry will run until approximately May or June of this year. Children are encouraged to invite their friends and family. The ministry is broken down into specific age groups noted below. Each group is led by a Director.
Since Touch Point will meet jointly with Capital Christian Fellowship, we have identified our group liaisons below:
Cubbies (Pre-K): Yvonne Everett
Sparks (Kindergarten thru 2nd grade) Nichole Obey
Truth & Training (3rd thru 6th grade) Peggy Smallwood
A formal parent orientation will be scheduled soon after a few weeks of registration. Parents are also encouraged to assist with the ministry. We have attached some additional information about the ministry and the AWANA calendar which notes specific themes for some meeting nights.
