First Lady Regina C. Obey
Welcome to Touch Point Church Ministries
Pastor Obey and His WifeFirst Lady Regina Obey is the 1st child born to Reginald and Matilda Davis. She has 4 brothers (one is deceased) and was raised in Staten Island New York and at the age of 13 moved to Norfolk, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Communications and English and is the Director of Finance for ZERO TO THREE, National Center for Infants, Toddlers, and Families, where she has worked both part-time and full-time for 23 years. Pastor and Sister Obey will celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on November 27, 2007 and they have 3 children: Troy, Nichole, and Natalyn.

First Lady Obey has supported her husband in ministry for over 25 years and has a passion for children and families. She has led the AWANA (A Workmen Approved Not Ashamed, II Timothy 2:15) ministry for children ages 2 through 6th grade for over 10 years with a volunteer staff of over 25 members at First Baptist Church of Highland Park. During that time, she coordinated an annual children’s camp for over 100 children for approx 6 years. In their first pastoral position at Bethel Baptist Church, Culpepper, VA, from 2001 to 2005, she served as a Deaconess, sang in the choir, and led the Children and Women’s Ministry.

Sister Obey takes a very active part in the ministries at Touch Point Church. She leads the Women’s and Ministers’ Wives Ministry, assists with the coordination of the children’s ministry, serves on the Leadership Team, and is a Deaconess. Sister Obey loves to learn and serve the Lord. She loves her family and believes the greatest calling on her life is that of wife and mother. She counts it an honor to be able to serve God by serving her family first. She loves to serve the Lord and is passionate about the Word of God. She believes that the Christian life should be one filled with joy and hope.

Her favorite verse is

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove
what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God..
